These terms govern your use of Tailwright. By signing in you agree to them. We've tried to keep them short and plain.
Tailwright is a human‑in‑the‑loop AI co‑pilot for job applications. It scores how well roles fit you, surfaces gaps, drafts tailored CVs / cover letters / answers, and helps you track your pipeline. You confirm before anything is submitted. We're not a recruitment agency and we don't guarantee interviews, offers, or hires.
You must be at least 16 to use the service. You're responsible for keeping access to your email (and authenticator app, if you enrol one) secure. One person, one account.
AI‑generated text may contain errors. Review every draft before you submit it. You're responsible for the accuracy and tone of what you send to employers.
If you connect your own AI provider key, you're bound by that provider's terms and bear the cost of your token usage on their bill. We store the key encrypted; you can revoke it at any time from your account.
If you buy managed credits, they cover AI model usage at the price shown on the Billing page. Credits are non‑transferable between users or providers. We handle payments via Stripe. For UK consumers, statutory refund rights apply.
You own your profile, CV, pasted jobs, and the drafts the AI produces from them. We own the platform, software, and our trademarks.
Tailwright is built on Career‑Ops (MIT licence), created by Santiago Fernández de Valderrama. We display this attribution in‑app and in our documentation, as required.
How we handle your data is in our Privacy page.
The service is provided “as is.” To the extent permitted by law, our liability for any claim arising from your use of Tailwright is limited to the fees you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability for fraud, gross negligence, or anything else that can't lawfully be limited.
You can leave at any time by deleting your account. We may suspend or close accounts that breach these terms. We'll give reasonable notice unless the breach is serious.
We may update these terms. If we change them materially, we'll notify approved users by email and update the “last updated” date above.
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and any dispute is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
